Gratitude

Being grateful when times are good is easy. Anyone can do that. But when challenging times confront us, it is necessary to use gratitude as a weapon. Instead of acting out in anger or pain, we can choose gentle reminders about what IS going well for us, instead of what is wrong. Even in the face of our darkest night! It is then that we discover an innate strength within that allows us to face and defeat whatever is creating negativity in our world.

I absolutely LOVE the work that the Greater Good Science Center at UC Berkley California is doing in this field. Here is a link to their "Gratitude Quiz." I just took it and was floored by my response :)
